biography
A promising young Franco-Scottish skier from Chamonix who has moved to Bourg Saint Maurice to attend the Freeski Academy, Mia McNab is already knocking on the Freeride World Tour door. Trained as an alpine skier with a predisposition for speed events, she put an end to the European Cups the year she turned 20 to devote herself to freeskiing, an unconstrained field in which she has always flourished on the bangs of competitions. She then moved to the Haute-Tarentaise valley to perfect her skills with the coaching staff at the Freeski Academy in Les Arcs, where she broke new ground in her first year, finishing fourth overall. Confident in her abilities, she set her sights on one of the two qualifying places for the World Championships. She trains with determination to achieve this goal, while continuing to study dietetics by correspondence and working in the summer to finance her passion. A poised young woman who could well put everyone off if she starts to speed up.
